Welcome to Ardmore
A desirable small town with an urban feel, and lots to do.
On the west side of Philadelphia sits the delightful Ardmore, a suburb that is consistently ranked among the best suburbs in the area and country alike. Originally known as Athensville in reference to the Greek Revival architecture-style movement, the town was renamed Ardmore by the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1873.
The trendiest real estate in Ardmore is close to the thriving
Suburban Square, at the heart of the Main Line. Ardmore has a variety of property types including condos, row houses, cottages, and luxury listings. You’ll also find a range of architectural styles, from the charming renovated Federal and Colonial reminiscent of the Old World, to modern contemporary.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping
Ardmore has several tasty restaurant options.
Tired Hands Brewing Company is known for their uniquely-brewed American ales and Belgian-inspired Saisons with bold, unique flavors. While their beer is the star of the show, you’ll also very much enjoy their tasty food items, which include sandwiches, burgers, sides, and appetizers. The go-to place for Mexican cuisine is definitely
El Limon. Their menu of traditional dishes like tacos, tortas, enchiladas, tamales, and more are most certainly best accompanied with one of their margaritas. For a quick but freshly delicious meal, you’ll love
Poké Ono. Hawaiian-inspired poké bowls made with fresh ingredients.
Ardmore is home to one of America’s original outdoor shopping centers,
Suburban Square. This center opened in 1928, and it’s where you’ll do all your shopping. Suburban Square is modern and cool, with a handful of local businesses as well as trendy retailers such as Lululemon, Free People, Peter Millar, and Urban Outfitters. You can also get active! Catch a class at SOULCYCLE or drop by the Life Time Athletic fitness club. For a shopping break or post-fitness class, you can relax in the courtyard or attend one of the many community events like
Taste of the Market and live music concerts.
